Happiness & Gratitude: A Spotlight on Photographer Gail V Haines
We want to take a moment to spotlight an amazing member of the Happiness Club community: Photographer Gail V. Haines.
Gail has a real gift for capturing the spirit of an event without ever interrupting it. She somehow manages to be everywhere at once, catching the laughter, conversations, and little moments people want to remember, all while blending seamlessly into the room. She gives just enough direction to make everyone look wonderful, while still keeping photos natural, relaxed, and full of life.
Her photography reaches well beyond our own gatherings. Working throughout Palm Beach County, Gail documents the people, places, and occasions that bring the community together, from nonprofit and civic events to celebrations and local happenings. Her work has also appeared in Florida Weekly, where her photographs help tell the stories of the many organizations and events that make this area such a lively place. And her eye isn’t reserved for people alone: her portfolio includes scenes from the natural world, too, capturing the unexpected beauty of places like Wakodahatchee Wetlands. Across these subjects, her style feels observant and approachable, with an appreciation for genuine expressions, lively moments, and the details that give each scene its character and the communities she photographs.
