Gather & Create in Nature with Speaker Susan Rubin
Step outside the box and into wonder.
Gather & Create in Nature is a gentle invitation to pause, breathe, and play with the beauty that’s already here. Together we’ll wander through Mounts Botanical Garden, gathering what calls to us and letting the earth whisper quiet reminders of balance and renewal.
Along the way, we’ll also look up — exploring the current cosmic energy and how the planets mirror the patterns we feel below. This lighthearted blend of nature, creativity, and a touch of stardust helps us reconnect with our own rhythm and the world’s.
No rules, no rush — just curiosity, conversation, and creation under an open sky. 🌞
Includes Entry, Guided Tour, & Nature Art-Making Kit
Why attend:
2025 has been a very hectic year, answer the call for creating a little peace. Without pressure, or dogma or any background needed. Let’s decide to end the year a little differently.
Start the morning outdoors — at one of our best kept secrets, Mounts Botanical Garden. We will wander, gather gifts from nature, and create something — even if we have never created art before.
Two things Susan will be sharing during our workshop, so we can learn a bit more about the energy we work with:
1. Why this date is special:
12/28 sits in a natural “in-between” — three days after Christmas, three days before the New Year. It’s a gentle threshold where many people are reflecting on what they’d like to release from 2025 and what they want to call in for 2026. Being in nature during this window creates clarity, grounding, and a sense of renewal.
2. Astro insights for that day:
The Sun (our guiding light) will be in Capricorn, flanked by Mars and Venus — a rare, supportive blend of motivation and heart. All of this sits in the 11th house, which highlights community, collaboration, and progress. The Moon will be in Aries, inviting authenticity and a fresh sense of courage. It’s a beautiful energetic mix for stepping into the New Year with intention.
Need a gift for someone who has everything?
This experience is also a lovely holiday gift: time in nature, creativity, and a shared moment of peace. Gift Certificates are available, wrapped for the season with a small treat included.
Breathe easy. Stay Curious. Let’s create what matters–together.
Dress Code:
Comfortable walking shoes and casual attire to ground in nature. Dress appropriately and bring water or even your favorite morning coffee — this event happens rain or shine.
